As 2019 draws to a close, we wanted to extend season’s greetings to you and yours. We couldn't celebrate the victories we've had without you, our dedicated clients. We thought we'd take this opportunity to take a brief look back and share a few highlights of our major accomplishments for 2019
We have so many things to be proud of, and those are just a few. We are excited about what 2020 holds for NRC and our clients. We can’t wait to sit down with each of you during your biannual/annual strategic planning session to chart out what comes next. Most of all we look forward to continuing to help you make IT easy!
Windows 7 will reach its End of Life (EOL) on January 14, 2020. This End of Life means no more bug-fixes, security patches or new functionality, making any user – personal or business more susceptible to malware attacks. You should be aware that using an outdated operating system makes your computer vulnerable to cyber-attacks.
If you have not talked with us about your plan to upgrade or replace machines running Windows 7, you should do so as soon as possible. It’s not too late, but time is running out fast. Reach out to us at 540-808-2900 Option 2 or jeff@newrivercomputing.com. A very few Windows 7 machines may be candidates for Microsoft's Windows 7 Extended Security Update program—please contact us for details.
We have partnered with Dark Web™ a leading Dark Web monitoring platform to help our clients with cyber-security issues. If you are interested in services, we can provide for you, call us at 540-808-2900 Option 2 or jeff@newrivercomputing.com to discuss.
No matter which holidays you celebrate, all of us at New River Computing hope you have a safe and wonderful time off with your families.
