Happy holidays and 2022 snapshot
We are right in the middle of the 2022 Holiday Season. We hope that each of you will enjoy the holiday with family and friends and make memories to last a lifetime. It’s hard to believe that 2023 is less than a month away. We wanted to take this time to extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful clients; without you we would not have victories to celebrate! We wanted to share a few highlights of 2022.
- Completed 17709 service tickets
- Completed 2578 Help Desk tickets generated by clients
- Reviewed & completed 7406 proactive tickets that clients may not have been aware existed
- Supported an NRC core value: Contribute to our community. We donated $144,000 in goods and services to 11 nonprofits in our community.
We have so many things to be proud of and those are just a few. We are enthusiastically looking forward to 2023 and the opportunities it holds for NRC and our clients. Most of all we look forward to continuing to help you make IT Easy!
November work anniversary
April Richardson celebrated her second work anniversary with New River Computing in November! Thank you, April, for manning the phones lines, triaging service tickets, and juggling schedules. We are fortunate and thankful to have you apart of the NRC Family.

Last call for end of year IT purchases
If you are planning to make any hardware or software investments to improve productivity, support remote teams, or strengthen cybersecurity, now is the time! While we have seen some improves with supply chain issues, these remain a concern. December 31 is right around the corner and it’s the deadline to take advantage of Section 179 expenditures. One of the standard year-end activities that accountants will often recommend is for businesses to make equipment investments by December 31 that can be written off as tax deductions (Section 179 of the IRS tax code). We recommend that you verify the benefits of purchasing equipment and making technology infrastructure improvements with your tax professionals.
